Wine Storage
For private customer reserves HarperWells Ltd recommend the storage facilities at Vinotheque, a 19th century grade II listed building in Staffordshire that is dedicated to the storage of fine wine private reserves. Vinotheque is owned and managed by London City Bond the UK’s premier wine storage company. For private cellar building and maintainence we suggest that you speak to SORRELLS.
Storage through Vinotheque is set up for you by us on your behalf (or alternatively you can download an application form here ) and has the following immediate advantages to you:
• You can order ‘under-bond’ defer the payment of duty and VAT on your purchase.*
• Take advantage of perfect conditions for both short and long-term storage.
• Your collection is fully secure.
• Your wines are fully insured at market replacement rates.
• It frees up storage space for you at home.
• Providence - Collectors and brokers prefer to by under-bond or from 1st rate stored goods.
• You can view your account on-line at any time, 24 hours a day.
*Payable when you retrieve the wines.
Annual storage charges at Vinotheque are £12.69 (inc VAT) but applied for in conjunction with HarperWells you pay just £10.15 per year.
Importantly your wines can only be moved or administrated by you allowing you total peace of mind as they steadily mature in ideal conditions. HarperWells can be contacted at any point to either value or advise drinking dates on your collection.
