HarperWells Advanced Training

At HarperWells we offer a unique training environment for all grades of staff in any industry and profession. We seamlessly integrate contemporary staff training models with a variety of vineyard, wine-trade and international commerce scenarios.

Our Team of trainers all have many years of training experience both in the UK and abroad, together with practical management experience at Senior Management level. We therefore take a practical and flexible approach at all times to deliver and exceed the needs of participants both as individuals and as a group.

Our portfolio of techniques are many and varied, and focussed on the best learning methodology, for the learner and subject matter but could include, besides straight input: Case studies, brainstorms, role-plays, simulations, quizzes, participants coaching teaching or interviewing each other, live research, Q and A sessions, syndicate groups, buzz groups, ranking and rating and mind mapping. Our training techniques are applied to real life situations and employ our extensive wine trade and business experience to bring each and every session alive.

How training is validated and evaluated

Validation and evaluation is designed in conjunction with the client to ensure that business/training requirements are met, and that the training is relevant to the participants experience and levels of knowledge.

With training at management level, we seek to extend the learning into the workplace with a range of processes (projects, presentations, forward planning) that integrate both learning and practice over a period of time after the initial training event. Put simply - prove what you have learned by showing us what you have done differently!

We work on the basis that training is an investment NOT a cost.
