The shape of this glass was developed in the mid 1990s following tastings in major Syrah (Shiraz) regions, when many influential winemakers contributed their views on how their wines would be best presented in a glass.
The Syrah glass highlights the tannins, offering a perfect balance with the overwhelmingly concentrated fruit. Especialy Recommended for all Syrah/Shiraz wines as well as Amarone, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Hermitage Rouge, Malbec, Pinotage, Grenache and Mourvedre.
All Riedel glasses are unadorned, thin blown and hand finished to the very highest standard.
