Winemaker Stephen Pannell
100% Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills region
The Adelaide Hills have a long, cool growing season, and are the source of some of Australia’s very best Chardonnay from producers like Henschke, Shaw & Smith, Jeff Grosset and Geoff Weaver. The relatively high altitude of the vineyards results in cool nights, which in turn provide the grapes with ability to ripen slowly and accumulate elegant chardonnay flavours. Carefully using a wild yeast fermentation, complexity and depth are added to this wine. It sees just a touch of oak aging in order to add a modest buttery, creamy character before bottling. The 2006 is a fresh, clean young wine, with a rounded, biscuity character on the nose, balanced by a fresh, lemony citrus edge.

Stunning value for money Redfin Chardonnay is great to enjoy with a variety of lighter dishes and versitile enough to complement chicken and poultry dishes. It is 13.5% abv.
