The super fine Intriga is a small production 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the Maipo Valley. Founded in 1865, the finances behind this wine come from the Mont Gras company, a company with an excellent reputation for varietal wines at the $10 - $15 price point.

Produced from old, low yielding vines, it is given the ultimate thoroughbred handling. The treatment in the winery is first-class, including maturation in the best oak barriques money can buy. It is a wine that is not only delicious now, it will undoubtedly benefit from many years of bottle age. It is one of the new generation of exceptional Chilean wines with a genuinely fine pedigree.
