Perched high on a hill above the plains of the Casablanca Valley, Vina Indomita looks more Roman temple than winery but love-it-or-hate-it, it is not a building you are going to miss! Sourcing fruit from both the Casablanca and Maipo regions, they have the benefit of having the best climate for both whites and reds and produce superb, expressive wines that are both beautiful and stunning value for money.
Nostros, meaning “ours” in Spanish offers both Reserva and Gran Reserva levels of wine from premium growing regions with real typicity and varietal expression. Finally, we have two super premium wines, Zardoz & Duette that display the power and concentration of the grapes grown in the vogueish Alta Maipo region.
This carefully made wine from the Casablanca Valley has a bright and lovely golden colour. On the nose it shows a full range of complex aromas from tropical fruits, creamy notes and toasted wood scents. Great balance and a fine finish.
Serve at around 12c as an aperitif or as a great wine to accompany salads, white meats and seafood.
