A hat trick of gold medals in 2008 UK competitions - Decanter World Wine Awards, International Wine Challenge and Sommeliers Awards. Pale yellow in colour with silvery glints and exceptionally fine and abundant bubbles which are lively and lasting. The nose is reminiscent of mineral aromas with a delicate fragrance of white blossom, with overtones of fresh almonds and vanilla.
Comtes de Champagne is produced only in exceptional years and is presented in an 18th century style antique bottle. Since 1990, each bottle contains 5% of wine aged in new French oak barrels. It is aged for 5 years before release.
