'Leah' is a delicious NZPN grown on clay rich hillside vineyards in Marlborough. The grapes are hand-picked and there are no stems in the fermentations. The fermentation uses natural yeasts and small, open-top fermenters. The final wine is aged in French oak barriques, some 20% of which are new. The 07 is a dead-ringer for better premier cru wines of the Cote de Nuits.

Seresin's Gewurztraminer is bursting with varietal character; lychee, Turkish Delight and ginger leap out of the glass. You'd never mistake it for any other varietal. But don't think this renders the wine 'obvious' of simple. It really is as elegant and fine as any other wine in their outstanding portfolio.

The 2007 Seresin Pinot Gris is beautiful wine that unashamedly takes it's inspiration from the wines of the Alsace. As with all Seresin wine it is hand picked and fermented using natural yeasts. The wine is matured in old oak barrels (ex-Chardonnay) for 5 - 6 months resulting is a wine of especially lovely weight, structure and balance. It really is impressive.

Seresin's dry Riesling is sold once the wine has 3 - 4 years of bottle age. It's quite a rare wine as only 250 dozen bottles are typically produced. Like all Seresin wines the quality is incredible. If you are a fan of New World Riesling don't overlook this wine.
