Warehouse Manager Role – HarperWells
Overview
This is an active and very varied role performing warehouse and logistic operations duties for a busy wine merchant. The job is based at HarperWells Warehouse between Ashwellthorpe and Wreningham approximately 7 miles south of Norwich City centre.
The job requires office based work, physical warehouse work and driving/delivering.

Main Duties
Checking in all deliveries from suppliers and assigning to customers or stock
Preparing all mail order deliveries to be picked up by courier (Picking, Packing, logging on dispatch system)
Keeping the Warehouse clean, tidy and organised at all times (adhere to organisational standards as well as comply with health and safety).
Carry out regular stock taking activities (weekly/monthly/annually).
Maintain a regular stock of packing materials and order when necessary.
Maintain the customer storage activity (book the stock in and maintain the log)
Keep paperwork up to date and organised (delivery notes, dispatch notes, trade invoices, delivery schedule etc)
Liaise with customers when necessary regarding delivery.
Maintain trade orders on existing customers (incoming orders from Restaurants and pubs etc.) – advise on trade stock levels on a weekly basis.
Provide management information as requested and highlight any appropriate warehouse related issues to relevant manager.
Liaise with the shop manager about delivery of shop stock.
Deliver to a number of local restaurants, event locations and private addresses – this is done in a company van and current occupies one day per week. Full UK driving License required.
Take overall responsibility for the company van – general maintenance and cleanliness.
Maintain ‘in-bond’ stock log (stock held in third party bonded warehouse).
Help out at some company events from time to time – occasionally these may be out of normal working hours.
