Join us in store on Saturday 14th October from 5pm for a two hour tasting with Günther Neukamp, from Nestor Wine in Austria.
We first met Günther on a trip to Austria and were quite simply enthralled by what we saw and tasted.
“The most astounding range of naturally made wines using low intervention methods – specialising in Cabernet Franc and Pinot Gris. This small 40 hectare humble operation is run by Neukamp and Stadler. Their passion for these ground-breaking wines was as intoxicating as the esters from the nearby open-top fermenters.”
This is a must attend tasting anyone keen to explore fine wines from the fringe. Burgenland is starting to make the headlines. John Downes MW, wrote in Decanter ‘There are three great Bs in the world of wine: Bordeaux, Burgundy and Burgenland’
