SPECIAL PRICE - NORMALLY £126 per 6. Fashioned from a McLaren Vale vineyard, the 2005 Shiraz G.A.M is a deep ruby/purple-hued effort displaying beautiful blackberry, white pepper, licorice, and toasty oak notes. Rich, full-bodied, and intense, with blueberry and blackberry flavors, sweet tannin, and excellent purity, it is a tour de force in winemaking. Enjoy it over the next decade. 95/100 Robert Parker, Wine Advocate

Earth and spice, some dusty notes from the fine-grained French oak add futher interest and complexity. Briary fruit and blackcurrant notes also provide a freshness to the nose. The 06 Reiver shows more restraint than previous vintages and will take a few months to begin to blossom in bottle. Flavours of dark chocolate, Satsuma plums and crushed leaves mingle with supple tannin and refreshing acidity. GOLD Medal Winner at IWC 2008 94/100 Robert Parker

“Immaculate expression of variety and region. Typicity up to its gills - and a single vineyard wine to boot. I'm in the midst of writing a book called (provocatively?) Why The French Hate Us: The Real Story of Australian Wine- and it's wines like this that I'm going to ram forward. This is pure, piercing, lingering and lovely. It's cutely zesty and acidic, as a wine of this quality should be. It will be gorgeous in ten years - as, with oysters, it is gorgeous right now”. Drink: 2008-2019. 95 points. Campbell Mattinson – The Wine Front – July 2007.

Our notes praised the great balance of this wine, exceptionally soft flavour profiles and great, enticing finish. It’s drinking quite well now but will probably not peak for 2 – 3 more years and will continue to develop over at least 8 more years.
