What We’re Drinking
If you’ve ever wondered what we like to drink, here’s a chance to find out! We’re bringing you something new for 2024, the HarperWells “What We’re Drinking” wine subscription!
Each month we will collate the best wines we’ve enjoyed throughout the month and we’ll either deliver them, or have them ready for collection at the end of each month. It’s as simple as that.
We have quite varied tastes, so you’ll be exploring the world of wine with us, from old world classics, to new and funky producers trying something different, and you might even find wines in there that never make it to our shop shelves. This is the best way to discover new wines, so if you’re prepared to try something different, trust us to pick the wines.
There are no deadlines, you’re free to sign up whenever you’d like.

A rolling monthly subscription that you can cancel or pause any time. The first month is 25% off so you can give it a go! Plans start from £60 a month.

A year up front
Purchase a full year’s worth of wine up front, and we’ll give you one month completely free! Our best value plans, with 12 months of access to all benefits and saving you up to £250! You’ll not have to think about wine for a whole year, leave it to us.
Buying the year up front works the same as any other purchase through our website. It will be a one off payment for 12 months of wine, with no recurring charges, and nothing else to think about. Nice and simple.
If you need to change your delivery address, or any other assistance, please email ryan@harperwells.com as soon as possible, and I’ll endeavour to assist you.
If you wish to cancel your subscription, you will need to get in touch with Ryan. However please note, we will only refund any month(s) cases not already shipped out and you will forfeit the free case offer.
If you sign up to our pay as you go subscription, you will set up a recurring payment through our payment partner Stripe. They will handle all aspects of your payment details securely.
Stripe has a customer Portal where you are able to manage your subscription. You can pause or cancel your subscription, change your delivery address, payment details, and even the amount of bottles if you wish.
If there is anything you are unable to do through the portal, or you need any other assistance, please email ryan@harperwells.com as soon as possible, and we’ll endeavour to assist you.
These wines will be a mix of styles, some more traditional, others from newer regions or unusual styles. We will be sending out a selection of interesting (and delicious) styles of wine that the HarperWells team enjoys, and by signing up you are agreeing to be open to the wines that we choose each month.
We will not be able to tailor the cases any further than general preferences, i,e. only reds, or only whites. If this is something you would prefer, please let us know by emailing ryan@harperwells.com.
Once you subscribe, you will receive a case of wine every month, with your selected quantity of battles.
If you’ve paid for delivery, we will ship your wine, on or around the 28th each month, (so we have time to taste the wines!). Please note this means you could receive your wines in the first few days of the following month, depending on our shipping partners.
If you have chosen to collect your wines from our store on Ber Street, we will have your wines packaged up ready for collection after the 28th of each month, however we will email you when they are ready. There is no rush for collection, we are happy to hold the wines for as long as you need.
We will be offering extra benefits to subscribing members in the future, which we will share with you, and any other subscribers in as fair a way as possible. The benefits may be altered without notice at any time, however we will endeavour to give you fair notice of any changes. If you cancel your subscription and request a refund of any remaining money, you will immediately lose access to any benefits.
We know shipping wine is not great for the planet, and we are focussed on being as environmentally conscious as possible. So please be aware that our tasting notes will be emailed to you instead of included in the box, and instead of buying and branding fresh boxes to ship the wines to you, we will often use outer cases from wine that has been delivered to us. This allows us to minimise the resources we use on what you would throw away. This directly leads to the money lost on packaging being used to provide you with better wines!
We believe that the loss of a pretty box for a better planet (and better wine) is worth it, and we hope you’ll agree.
