A wine to get you through autumn:
Tenuta Casenuove
Located in the heart of the ancient Chianti Classico region, Tenuta Casenuove covers 105 hectares spread over a succession of hills and valleys. There are 28 hectares under vine (in organic conversion), planted high above the Pesa river at altitudes of 370 to 490 metres, in soils rich in the famed local galestro, a rocky, schistous clay terrain.
This Chianti balances dark fruits with freshness, a touch of spice and a subtle savouriness. Perfect for roast meats, hard cheeses and hearty autumnal fare, this is a wine we can’t get enough of.
