Located in the south of France, to the north of Montpellier, Terrasses du Larzac is a relatively new appellation, whose name is reflects the terraces descending 800 metres down from the famous Causse du Larzac plateau.
Due to the position of this 800m high limestone plateau it escapes the hot summer sun and drives cool air through vineyards planted on its slopes.
The appellation is proving its star quality, producing full-bodied, age-worthy reds with freshness and character.

A blend of 37% Syrah with 25% Grenache, 23 Cinsault and 15% Mourvedre. The unoaked Garennes Rouge is deep black-red in colour, with rich, vibrant fruit aromas of plum, blackcurrant and blackberry, combined with a clean, savoury intrigue. The palate is concentrated, deep and vivid, with great purity of fruit and Capion’s hallmark lively acidity; a fresh, pristine, juicy yet complex red from fastidiously sorted fruit, beautifully packaged and offering terrific value for money – Andrew Jefford: Drink to 2023
You thirst for more? This gives it to you! Very elegant and deep nose of spice, caramel, toasty oak, tea leaves and stone fruit. The palate is consummaately statuesque with whispers of buttery baked peach, citrus, vanilla, coconut, flowers and fine acidity. Very long, juicy and succulent. A joy to drink

Famously obsessed with wine.
Georgian wines have been gaining more popularity in the UK, and we’ve long championed these authentic wines, made in a very natural style. In fact it was one of Telani’s reds, made from local variety, Saperavi that became one of the top sellers after our annual showcaase tasting.
However, as customers may have noted, the supply chain has struggled a bit with matching volume with demand with the wines frequently going out of stock almost before they arrive.
The current predicament for the Georgian wine industry is not so much a fragmented supply chain but that the vast majority of their customers are based in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Kazhakstan.
We absolutely are not trying to profiteer from the war. Teliani Valley has always been popular with our customers and if we (the UK) can drink a bit more Georgian wine hopefully we can make up a little bit of their shortfall.
Our pricing is designed to incentivise you to stock up now or perhaps spur you on to try something new.
